Lynette commenced her nursing career at Prince Henry’s Hospital in Melbourne in the early 1980s.  She then completed further tertiary studies in advanced nursing and education, completing a Masters in Nurse Education in 1996. Her career since that time has been varied in military nursing, emergency, education and senior leadership roles throughout Australia, Saudi Arabia and UK. One consistent theme throughout the past 20 years is working in the Aged Care sector and a passion for education on Palliative care. In January 2023 Lynette joined the team at PEPA Aged Care Queensland as an educator delivering and facilitating palliative care education at RACFs across the state.
