Who can become a Mentor?
A person working in palliative care who is dedicated to sharing knowledge and supporting non-specialist healthcare staff to improve their palliative care knowledge and skills.
If you are motivated to support participants to elevate the palliative care they can provide in their workplace then mentoring needs you!

The mentoring resources consist of four learning modules encompassing –

Mentor Workshop
PEPA/IPEPA mentor workshops are interactive and face-to-face. They are designed for palliative care specialist staff wanting to take the next step to mentor and share their knowledge and experience.
The workshops are run by experienced PEPA/IPEPA facilitators who will guide you through the fundamentals of mentoring. You will be able to join a group of like-minded palliative care specialists dedicated to supporting the future of the workforce.
Learning that is core to the workshops includes:
- Culturally-responsive mentoring
- Communication and feedback skills
- Reflective skills
- Supporting the participant to identify their strengths in palliative care provision
Workshops are coordinated by our State and Territory partners.
